Carrot Seed Premium Marine is a high-end marine that has a stain resistant PermaBlock coating on the face, is mildew resistant on the face and backing, with a high UV protection rating on the face. It also has a 100% polyester backing. Please note the special cleaning instructions for this particular vinyl outlined below.
This particular vinyl is a premium marine grade and is manufactured with a special coating on the face to protect it from UV rays. Marine vinyls are graded solely based on the UV protection (on the face of the vinyl) they provide in hours. Grading of marine vinyls has nothing to do with the backing or thickness of the vinyl, moreover the protection from UV rays.
Special Cleaning Instructions for Carrot Seed Premium Marine with PermaBlock on the face:
1. Light Soiling: Clean the vinyl immediately if it comes in contact with substances like grease, blood, sauces, lipstick, wine or coffee to prevent permanent stains and/or build-up. Gently wipe off any excess right away with a dry cloth, making sure not to spread it all over the surface.
2. Remove excess spill by cleaning the whole surface in circular motions using liquid hand soap (pH neutral) and water (1 part soap to 9 parts water).
3. Wipe with a clean damp cloth to get rid of any excess soap. Repeat as needed and then let dry.
4. Heaving Soiling: Dampen a soft white cloth with a one-to-one (1-1) solution of warm water and an approved cleaner, such as Formula 409*. Rub gently, rinse with a clean water-dampened cloth, and dry.
Do NOT use alcohol-based cleaning agents, or solvents that are not pH neutral, products containing 50% or more alcohol, cleaning tools that are abrasive, plastic, wire sponges or hard-bristled. Do not make marks with pens or permanent marker on this vinyl as it may stain in permanently.

For ALL SORTS OF STAINS: Clean within 24 hours to avoid permanent stains in the surface. After this time has elaspsed effectiveness drops to 50%.

All of our vinyl is hand cut; machine washable and dryable (on low heat). Drying on low heat will help your vinyl to last longer. There may also be a slight odor to this product.
