Marine vinyls are made with a special coating on the top to protect from UV rays. Vinyls are then graded by the UV ray protection in hours. Marine vinyls have nothing to do with the backing or the thickness and everything to do with the top to protect it from the UV rays when outside.  

MOST of the Marine Vinyl collection has the following properties. Any differences are noted in the description.

• Domestic friendly
• Minimal stretch
• Thickness: 1.0 mm
• Color of Backing:  100% White Polyester Knit (the color of the face shows thru the knit woven backing.)

Marine vinyls are easy to cut; can be used for making purses, wallets, bows, keyfobs, appliques, ITH bags, backpacks, and more!

Only the following colors are mildew and antimicrobial treated on the face and the back.  They can also be printed with UV and Inkjet printers:
