Western is just that, a western textured vinyl wtih a woven backing. This is NOT marine grade vinyl.

Western can be used for making purses, wallets, bows, keyfobs, appliques, ITH bags, Backpacks and more

Special Note:
Difference between faux tooled and western:  There is little difference between the two, both have very similar design, feel of texture and pliability.  Faux Tooled is .9mm thick and Western is .8mm thick.  Western is slightly more pliable than the Faux Tooled.  Backing is similar, however Western has a color backing, where Faux Tooled is a white woven backing.
