Our WRC (Water Repellent Canvas) is a medium-weight polyester fabric that is perfect for making bags...use it for the outside, or for the lining. You can also use for aprons, diaper bags, wet bags, tote bags, purses, and carry cases. You can even use it for luggage, backpacks, sport and duffle bags, seat covers, dog beds, picnic blankets, and any place you need to keep dry and protected. We recommend one-inch FOE for finishing the edges. This fabric is medium-weight yet pliable so it is easy to manage but also provides some structure. Finished with DWR (durable water repellent), and laminated with smooth clear polyurethane on the back. And it is domestic-friendly!

Cut Sizes
ALL 18 inch cuts will be SEPARATE CUTS. Our 18" x 59/60" cuts are in stock and ready to ship! If your project requires a continuous cut of more than 18", we will cut-to-order if the fabric is available. Please be aware that continuous cuts will take a couple of days to fulfill. Pricing is slightly higher for continuous cuts more than 18" as it requires a bit more time to fulfill. If you order more than one yard it will be cut and shipped as one continuous piece.

Care
The fabric may have fold lines in it from shipping. Toss in a warm dryer for a few minutes or iron on low to remove folds. Do not prewash. Machine wash not recommended. Wipe clean with damp cloth. Hang to dry.

Sewing
Use a universal needle and 100% polyester thread. This fabric does not stretch or shrink. The fabric cuts very nicely - even with pinking shears. It sews smoothly and does not stick to the presser foot or feed dogs like laminated cotton can. To avoid pinprick marks when piecing layers together, use clips or pin inside the seam allowance.
